Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair golf course machinery and vehicles including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles and ride-on equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing and adjustments to engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Fabricate and repair parts using welding and basic metalwork
• Maintain tools, spare parts inventory and accurate service records
• Provide timely support to grounds team for equipment setup and emergency repairs

Requirements

• Trade qualification or technical certificate
• Experience with diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Basic welding and metalwork skills
• Valid UAE driving licence
• Good English communication skills (asset)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf course or grounds maintenance
• Experience working with Troon or international hospitality operators
• NVQ or equivalent mechanical certification
