Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and topographic surveys for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
• Utilize survey instruments (total stations, GPS, levels) to measure and record site features and boundaries.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to produce detailed reports, drawings, and maps.
• Prepare sketches and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and design requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to integrate survey data into project plans.
• Conduct boundary and property line surveys, ensuring compliance with local land use regulations.
• Perform topographic and construction surveys for proper alignment and elevation of project elements.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot survey equipment, keeping detailed records of usage and maintenance.
• Ensure all surveying activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.
• Manage, organize, and secure all survey data using specialized software (AutoCAD, GIS tools).

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ overall experience in the field.
• Recognized degree in relevant field of expertise.
• Experience in roads and bridges infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in land, topographic, boundary, and construction surveying.
• Ability to use survey instruments and related software tools.
• Knowledge of local UAE land use and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Al Ain experience is advantageous.
• Middle East experience preferred.
