Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct land and topographic surveys for infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage)
  • Use survey instruments (total stations, GPS, levels) to record measurements, features, and boundaries
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data for mapping, planning, and design
  • Prepare survey reports, drawings, and maps, ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements
  • Review prior survey data and design documents, verify consistency and accuracy
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure survey data aligns with design plans and schedules
  • Conduct boundary surveys; work with regulatory authorities and resolve property disputes
  • Perform topographic and construction surveys, assist in setting benchmarks and control points
  • Ensure quality assurance and control on survey data, adhering to industry standards
  • Conduct as-built surveys and update documentation post-construction
  • Calibrate and maintain all survey equipment; maintain equipment usage and calibration logs
  • Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
  • Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and assist in reporting and presentations
  • Manage and organize survey data with relevant software (AutoCAD, GIS tools)

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in land surveying
  • Recognized degree in relevant field
  • Experience with roads and bridges projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS tools
  • Strong knowledge of survey instruments (total stations, GPS, levels)
  • Knowledge of UAE land regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in Al Ain
  • Middle East experience preferred
