Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct construction stakeout and detailed site surveys for structures including roads and underground utilities.
  • Review and verify contractor setting-out points for alignment with approved IFC drawings and benchmarks.
  • Perform topographic, boundary, utility, and as-built surveys using total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
  • Coordinate with supervision team to ensure survey data accurately reflects design intent and construction requirements.
  • Research legal records, existing survey data, and previous boundary lines relevant to the site.
  • Record and verify survey measurements, elevations, and coordinates.
  • Prepare survey reports, CAD-based drawings, and metes-and-bounds documentation for client and internal records.
  • Ensure protection of all existing utilities and structures during construction works, with proper survey reference and documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure site levels and alignments conform to approved design and regulations.
  • Assist the Resident Engineer in resolving discrepancies in site conditions and survey layouts.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or related discipline
  • Minimum 7+ years (degree holders) or 10+ years (diploma holders) in land surveying on infrastructure projects
  • Direct experience with Dubai infrastructure projects/procedures
