Interior Design Inspector - Site Supervision

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to inspect and evaluate the progress of interior design projects
• Verify that construction and installation work adheres to approved design plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Collaborate with contractors, designers, and project managers to resolve design-related issues on-site
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
• Review and approve material samples, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance with design intent
• Monitor project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of interior design elements
• Identify potential design conflicts or construction issues and propose effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design implementation and quality control
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and project modifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in interior design or a related field, focusing on site supervision and quality control
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, building codes, and construction materials and methods
• Familiarity with MEP systems and their integration in interior spaces
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools and quality control methods
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in technical report writing
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to travel to various project sites within Dubai and the UAE

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in interior design (e.g., NCIDQ)
