Inspector - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors are compliant with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health & safety measures
• Coordinate daily with teams to document and verify quality and quantity of contractor work
• Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals and perform necessary actions
• Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment resources daily
• Undertake all site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
• Document contractor personnel, equipment, observed activities, location, and methodology
• Report on material deliveries, follow and implement site instructions, quality controls, and procedures
• Prepare site measurements and survey checks as needed
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements through inspections
• Monitor health and safety compliance of construction works and report violations

Requirements

• Experience in construction supervision with a consultancy (minimum 8 years overall, at least 5 years in the UAE)
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (for Inspector level)
• Good knowledge of electrical methodologies, installation processes, and procedures
• Knowledge of building codes
• Experience in various building types (horizontal development, mixed-use residential, commercial, retail, hospitality)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Competency in report writing and clear presentation in written English
• Detailed knowledge of construction techniques
• Experience in electrical-related projects

Preferred Qualifications

• For progression to Engineer level: Related BSc degree in Engineering field
