Inspector - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Monitor conformance to quality standards, performance specifications, and electrical code requirements
• Conduct daily field inspections of electrical systems and installations
• Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records
• Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning activities
• Track quality assurance progress and report findings to project managers
• Provide input for documentation of area and equipment turnovers
• Assist with training entry-level employees on inspection procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve electrical issues and ensure project success
• Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical codes and safety regulations

Requirements

• Relevant electrical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in electrical inspections
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work efficiently under general supervision
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the electrical field
• Experience with quality assurance tracking and reporting
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and software
• Valid UAE work permit or eligibility to obtain one
• Willingness to work in various field conditions and potentially at heights
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
