Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Familiarize with project’s contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with contract standards and specifications.
  • Maintain daily records of contractor personnel and equipment.
  • Perform site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
  • Liaise daily with the contractor to ensure proper resource, health and safety, and equipment management.
  • Prepare daily reports, including work orders, materials delivery, and inspection programs for RE or ARE.
  • Follow up and implement site instructions from RE and ARE.
  • Apply and implement quality control procedures.
  • Prepare site measurements and survey checks for pipe alignments and levels.
  • Coordinate with the client project manager during site inspections.
  • Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain records.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence as required by contract documents and site requirements.
  • Collaborate to resolve site problems promptly.
  • Monitor commissioning and handover of site works; maintain project milestone records.
  • Maintain records of materials tests and executed work.
  • Perform audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on similar projects
  • Minimum 3 years of UAE experience
  • Relevant experience in infrastructure and roads projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • RTA (Roads & Transport Authority) Approval
  • UAE experience preferred
