Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure all architectural engineering aspects of projects are executed per inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Liaise with senior architectural engineers and other teams for guidance and support.
  • Review and monitor variations to mitigate time and cost impacts.
  • Review contractor documentation and shop drawings to identify and rectify issues affecting stability or function.
  • Ensure contractors’ compliance with approved Quality Control Plans and safety protocols.
  • Provide regular progress reports and maintain complete site records including daily diaries and monthly progress photography.
  • Expedite NOCs and approvals from relevant authorities and the client.
  • Liaise with various contractors’ management to expedite submission and approvals processes.
  • Perform and evaluate tests for quality requirements and inspect architectural finishes and components.
  • Field check placement, location, and quality of architectural finishes and building structure components.
  • Conduct architectural and material inspections, issue NCRs, and assist with corrective actions.
  • Ensure all inspection reports meet requirements and compliance standards.
  • Execute work in accordance with Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
  • Assist with completed works inspections and other duties as assigned by the direct manager.
  • Monitor and report HSE matters, participate in HSE training and meetings.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering (required).
  • Good knowledge of basic design requirements, architectural methodologies, finishes, and building codes.
  • Experience in construction supervision (consultancy) within the UAE.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Competence in report writing and documentation.
  • Detailed knowledge of construction techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related degree in Engineering fields (for career advancement to Engineer level).
  • Safety training or certification.
  • Experience with horizontal development, mixed-use residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects.
