Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure all architectural engineering aspects of the project are executed according to inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Liaise daily with project teams, senior engineers, managers, and contractors to support, guide, and expedite documentation and approvals.
  • Review contractor documents/shop drawings to identify and rectify issues affecting architectural stability and compliance.
  • Oversee safety compliance in architectural installations and coordinate inspection protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily diaries and progress photography.
  • Evaluate and perform tests to confirm the quality of architectural finishes and building components.
  • Generate accurate inspection reports and issue NCRs, assisting in corrective actions.
  • Ensure all inspections are compliant with requirements, assisting with NOCs and approvals from authorities and clients.
  • Perform architectural and materials inspections, meeting contract administration procedures.
  • Support HSE reporting and participate in HSE training and meetings.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering (required for Inspector position)
  • Experience in architectural/construction projects supervision with consulting experience in the UAE
  • Good knowledge of design requirements, architectural methodologies, finishes, and building codes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Report writing proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of construction techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (required to progress to Engineer level)
  • Safety training or certification (preferred)
  • Experience in buildings of all types, especially horizontal development, mixed-use, residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality
