Inspector - Architectural

Responsibilities

• Monitor all architectural engineering aspects in line with inspection plans, drawings, codes, and specifications.
• Liaise daily with teams for quality assurance, document work, and ensure contractor compliance.
• Review and monitor work variations, contractor submittals, and quality control plans.
• Conduct inspections and material evaluations as per approved shop drawings and method statements.
• Maintain comprehensive site records including diaries, submittals, and progress reports.
• Issue NCRs and assist with corrective actions.
• Ensure all inspection reports meet requirements.
• Coordinate and expedite approvals and NOCs from relevant authorities.
• Report and monitor safety and HSE matters, participating in related training.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering required (Degree for progression to Engineer level)
• Experience in architectural construction supervision within UAE
• Knowledge of building codes and construction techniques
• Effective oral and written English communication
• Report writing competency

Preferred Qualifications

• Safety training or certification
• Experience with mixed-use, residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality buildings
