Engineer - Structural

Responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Engineer and assist in supervising the construction of bridges/roads works.
• Coordinate activities with other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.
• Coordinate with AECOM design engineers for resolution of related issues.
• Maintain the daily diary and daily reports by inspectors.
• Coordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource application.
• Direct, assist, and monitor performance of inspectors and surveyors as applicable.
• Convene and chair meetings with service authorities, contractors, subcontractors, and other parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering supervision (bridges/underpasses)
• Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering
• RTA Pre-Approval (highly desirable)
• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification
