Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standards
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues
  • Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector’s performance regularly
  • Update progress for all assigned works to the project manager
  • Review updated records to form as-built records
  • Check and coordinate for all assigned services
  • Coordinate with Head office (Design) for all material reviews and design queries
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures for structural elements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and address concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in construction supervision of bridges and roads
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional technical report writing and communication abilities
  • Experience in managing large-scale construction projects
  • In-depth understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • RTA Approval
