Engineer - Structural

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites throughout Dubai
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment
• Review and approve structural designs, calculations, and drawings for compliance with local building codes and project specifications
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for all structural elements
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders
• Coordinate with the design team to address on-site challenges and propose innovative solutions
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients
• Ensure all structural work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering and site supervision
• Track record in large-scale construction projects (Dubai/UAE experience preferred)
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent project management, communication, and technical reporting skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of building materials, methods, and quality control

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading teams
