Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily monitoring of site activities and material usage
  • Inspect delivered, stored, and used materials for compliance
  • Monitor executed works against design specifications
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements across all parties
  • Verify activities per Project Quality plan (PMC & Contractor)
  • Issue and follow up on non-compliance reports (NCR)
  • Liaise closely with contractor and PMC operations team
  • Guide operations team on NCR issues, CAPA, and follow-up
  • Assist in reviewing method statements, ITPs, and materials
  • Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning verification
  • Attend meetings to present and discuss site quality issues
  • Track QA progress, identify trends, and communicate alerts
  • Prepare quality reports for Quality Manager and Project Manager
  • Maintain records for contractor resources, material tests, and executed works
  • Supervise and inspect site works as instructed by RE/ARE
  • Prepare daily reports including work orders and inspection programs
  • Implement and apply all site quality controls and procedures
  • Prepare site measurements and survey checks for pipe alignments/levels
  • Coordinate with client project manager during inspections
  • Assist with correspondence related to contract and site requirements
  • Resolve site problems promptly with RE or ARE
  • Monitor start-up, commissioning, and handover milestones
  • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 12+ years’ experience in quality, construction material, and material testing
  • Minimum 8 years’ infrastructure project experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ UAE experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with landscape, roads, sewerage, water, irrigation & storm water materials
  • Previous work in engineering consultancies
