Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve Contractor’s proposed materials and methods (per Resident Engineer delegation)
  • Prepare Material Engineer’s Daily Diary
  • Oversee Contractor’s daily activities, assignments, and on-site performance
  • Provide guidance on supervision of Contractor’s operations
  • Attend factory visits and supplier plant inspections as needed
  • Follow up on testing and approvals from relevant authorities
  • Review Contractor’s testing requests and completed reports
  • Approve Contractor’s submissions as delegated
  • Monitor material delivery performance and site usage accuracy
  • Coordinate schedule, sequence, and method of work with Contractor’s supervisors
  • Monitor conformance with Contractor’s schedule
  • Conduct continuous field inspections and consult with Resident Engineer and Contractor’s staff
  • Prepare written and oral reports to Resident Engineer on contractual/procedural matters

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience (design, construction, supervision of water pipeline, sewerage, rising mains, pumping stations)
  • Knowledge of Dubai infrastructure networks
  • Extensive experience in quality inspections, ISO9000 systems
  • BSc Degree from recognized university
  • Dubai Central Laboratory approval holder
