Engineer - Civil

Responsibilities

• Review of Inspectors Daily Reports.
• Preparation of Engineer’s Daily Diary.
• Oversight of Inspector’s daily activities including work assignments, onsite performance, and guidance on supervision of Contractor’s operations.
• Review Contractor’s inspection, surveying and testing requests and completed reports.
• Approve Contractor’s Shop Drawings as delegated by Resident Engineer.
• Monitor performance of the survey party.
• Review and approve Contractor’s proposed materials and methods as delegated.
• Prepare meeting minutes as delegated.
• Coordinate with Contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work.
• Monitor conformance with Contractor’s schedule.
• Conduct continuous field inspections and consult with Resident Engineer and Contractor’s supervisory staff.
• Prepare written and oral reports to Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters.
• Review as-built drawings in coordination with inspectors and surveyors.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years demonstrable experience in supervision of road and highway construction
• Previous experience in Dubai

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous RTA approval is preferable
