Electrical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of electrical equipment, systems, and components to verify quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Inspect electrical installations, including wiring, panels, and control systems, to ensure proper installation and functionality.
• Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and potential risks discovered during inspections.
• Prepare clear and detailed inspection reports, maintaining accurate and organized records of all findings.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve electrical issues and ensure project alignment.
• Verify timely and effective implementation of corrective actions for identified issues.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices related to electrical systems and inspection processes.
• Participate in project meetings, offering technical input and support as required.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols during all site activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field
• Proficiency in electrical codes and standards, including in-depth knowledge of UAE electrical regulations
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Proven experience working on construction sites
• Familiarity with testing equipment and inspection tools
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant inspection software
• Attention to detail with commitment to safety and quality
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to various construction sites within the UAE
• Valid UAE driver's license
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams
