Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex project requirements for a prestigious site-based project in Abu Dhabi (48-hour, 6-day work week).
  • Coordinate and review, administer and oversee compliance activities for industrial, commercial, and government contracts/subcontracts.
  • Support contract review, acceptance, and compliance—including reviewing proposed contract terms, resolving questions/issues with clients/government representatives, preparing spend/progress reports, conducting reviews, and facilitating contract closure.
  • Maintain direct liaison with the Client and PMC project team.
  • Advise on all contractual matters and participate in contractor pre-qualification/selection.
  • Administer full procurement process for contractors and consultants, including advance review, solicitation, meeting coordination, amendments, and negotiations.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce contract management and administrative procedures per company/project policies.
  • Monitor ongoing contracts, investigate issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure all warranties, bonds, insurances, and guarantees are in place and compliant.
  • Prepare/maintain correspondence and records for effective contract administration.
  • Advise/evaluate contractual implications of change orders, interim/final payment certificates, claims, disputes, and contract changes.
  • Handle daily contractual correspondence and support contract close-out procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years post-undergraduate experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Engineering (or similar) from an accredited, internationally recognized institution or university.
  • Direct, onsite contracting exposure in UAE construction projects preferred.
  • Strong contract administration and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MRICS, MCIARB or equivalent accreditation.
