CAD Technician - Digital Delivery

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD for Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and infrastructure projects.
• Interpret design inputs from engineers and translate them into detailed drawings.
• Review, update, and maintain drawings to comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards.
• Track and verify existing sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks in Dubai using as-built records.
• Conduct site surveys to verify construction progress and collect data for accurate as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders for timely, accurate delivery of drawings.
• Maintain an organized archive of project drawings and documentation.
• Provide technical support during construction, ensuring drawings reflect changes and actual site conditions.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in drafting or civil engineering.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in drafting related to sewerage, drainage, irrigation, and related infrastructure—preferably within the UAE.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and internet tools.
