Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver cost management services for high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial developments in Dubai.
  • Participate in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles, managing high-profile projects and leading teams larger than 6.
  • Manage and assess claims, with strong contract administration skills (FIDIC) for consultants and contractors.
  • Advise on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, feasibility studies, and pre-contract estimating.
  • Manage project resources according to requirements, acting as the primary client contact for mid-scale projects.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring quality control, benchmarking, data collection, and internal reporting.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting professional development programs and monitoring performance of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in the construction industry
  • At least 5 years' experience in Dubai or the Middle East
  • Proven experience managing high-value CAPEX projects (US$200M+)
  • Strong contract administration (FIDIC)
  • Experience across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors
  • Ability to manage teams and projects with limited direction
  • Project delivery and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction-related field
  • Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)
  • Minimum 12 years post-graduate experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Middle East
