Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cost management services for high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial developments in Dubai.
- Participate in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles, managing high-profile projects and leading teams larger than 6.
- Manage and assess claims, with strong contract administration skills (FIDIC) for consultants and contractors.
- Advise on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, feasibility studies, and pre-contract estimating.
- Manage project resources according to requirements, acting as the primary client contact for mid-scale projects.
- Oversee the lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring quality control, benchmarking, data collection, and internal reporting.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting professional development programs and monitoring performance of direct reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years' experience in the construction industry
- At least 5 years' experience in Dubai or the Middle East
- Proven experience managing high-value CAPEX projects (US$200M+)
- Strong contract administration (FIDIC)
- Experience across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors
- Ability to manage teams and projects with limited direction
- Project delivery and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction-related field
- Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)
- Minimum 12 years post-graduate experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Middle East
