Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams for complex civil engineering projects
  • Review and provide input on project designs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to UAE building codes and regulations
  • Manage multiple projects from conceptualization to completion
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction aligns with design specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to develop innovative solutions for project challenges
  • Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in civil engineering
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to professional development of the team
  • Participate in business development activities and proposal preparation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent local qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials
  • Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and relevant engineering software
  • In-depth understanding of Abu Dhabi and UAE building codes and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel for project site visits and client meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Experience working on international projects
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships
