Rust/Go Software Engineer - Dubai

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality web services and components in Rust prioritizing performance, reliability, maintainability, and readability.
• Design, implement, and maintain core web services and components, always improving toward best practical solutions.
• Draw on past experience, research, and collaboration to maximize results and avoid pitfalls.
• Break down complex ideas into simple terms and collaborate effectively within a large engineering team.
• Take on independent code review responsibilities and collaboratively design new features.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience using Rust (focus) and Go (solid understanding).
• Proven ability to learn new tools to maximize performance, safety, and delivery speed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in web/network protocols (HTTP, TLS, DNS) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong understanding of database engines (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
