Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations, providing advice on P&C policies, procedures, and UAE labor laws. Resolve conflicts and foster communication between employees and management.
- Oversee talent management processes, including onboarding, performance management, and succession planning to attract, develop, and retain top talent in the UAE.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies; manage relationships with regulatory bodies and keep abreast of legislative changes.
- Manage HRIS systems to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and enhance P&C processes through technology.
- Support compensation and benefits programs, conducting benchmarking to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide coaching to leadership on people policies and empower department heads.
- Provide expertise in career planning, performance management, total rewards, employee relations, learning and development, risk management, and legal compliance.
- Support a cohesive P&C model in collaboration with Workplace Experience, Talent, Learning & Development, and IT.
- Oversee global employee onboarding and exit processes in partnership with IT.
- Guide organizational change initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, conduct surveys, analyze feedback, and implement action plans.
- Create reports using both quantitative and qualitative people data.
- Develop strategies to address future workforce needs and talent gaps.
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience as a People Business Partner or similar, in a fast-paced, global scale-up organization
- Experience with P&C tools/software (employee engagement, performance appraisals, etc.)
- Working knowledge of UAE employment laws and payroll practices
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP for payroll
- Strong ability to interact with employees at all organizational levels; experience with senior leadership preferred
- Demonstrated high level of discretion
- Ability to handle ambiguity, tight timelines, multiple priorities, and work autonomously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
