Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities in Management Systems Certification and Training
• Ensure completion of all assigned work and documentation according to required procedures and standards for tender submittals
• Utilize tools such as CRM and Focus
• Attend meetings with clients to address business needs and consistently achieve monthly targets
• Prepare proposals for training and certifications; follow up with cold calling and client visits to close leads
• Maintain summary reports of monthly leads and submitted quotes, tracking their status and business conversion
• Adhere to internal standards, procedures, and protocols (e.g., QHSE, Integrity, Sustainability, Professional Conduct)
• Complete daily tasks assigned by the Manager

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 8 years of relevant business experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE within a Certification Body
• Valid UAE driving license
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Market intelligence and competitor analysis skills
• Good command of business support functions
• Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and applicable local regulations
