Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Receive guest calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Handle every query in a polite and courteous manner and strive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Greet guests by name upon calling as per Rixos standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel and local services.
  • Keep awareness of guest profile through guest profile system.
  • Complete management's long-distance call vouchers and record them.
  • Maintain guest wake-up call sheet and deliver calls on time.
  • Operate the switchboard for fast and efficient call transferring (internal/external).
  • Take messages for guests and management.
  • Ensure all calls are answered efficiently according to procedure.
  • Track whereabouts of managers for effective contact.
  • Monitor logs of calls, faxes, and messages.
  • Coordinate hotel communication in emergencies.
  • Be fully aware of daily "Rixelence" events.
  • Ensure proper grooming at all times.
  • Attend scheduled training classes.
  • Show cooperation and respect within the team and across departments.
  • Maintain awareness of daily activities and knowledge of hotel facilities.

Requirements

  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Multilingual abilities (Russian required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in hospitality/communications/IT
  • Hospitality management courses
  • Experience with hotel management and reservation systems
  • Technical knowledge of telecommunications equipment
