Golf Operations Attendant

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, cart wash down area, podium and bag drop.
• Prepare and maintain golf carts to Troon Golf standards; stage carts for play and manage cart inventory.
• Support setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service to guests including bag handling, club cleaning and rental club management.
• Educate players on course and cart policies, speed of play and daily rules; start players on the first tee and maintain accurate starting sheets.
• Monitor pace of play, tour the course to assist players and cue groups to maintain proper spacing.
• Maintain practice range: ensure practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and ball pyramids are present and manage ball inventory.
• Repair ball marks, collect trash, replace hazard stakes/directional signage, and check restrooms and water stations regularly.
• Complete daily golfer tracking and communicate with the Golf Shop and Starter.
• Incorporate safe work practices and attend staff meetings.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous golf operations experience
• Familiarity with Troon standards
• Experience with club rental procedures
