Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Fairmont & Raffles’ objectives.
Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
Set sales targets, establish performance metrics, and monitor progress towards revenue goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to hotel DOSMs, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Support hotels in recruiting, developing, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and partners.
Lead negotiations for major opportunities and ensure favourable terms.
Oversee sales processes, tools, and systems to maximize productivity.
Monitor contracted segment performance, generate executive reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, revenue management, operations leadership, finance, and other teams to align sales strategies and drive growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or related field (preferred)
4+ years’ experience as DOSM for a single property or cluster of hotels (preferably luxury)
Proven success in sales leadership roles in hotels
Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strategic thinking and sound business acumen
Proficiency in CRM and sales management software
Flexibility to travel as required
