Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle collections legal cases, including cheque execution, civil cases, and cases against the bank.
  • Liaise with collection teams for in-court settlements and release of cases.
  • Coordinate with law firms for new and ongoing cases, ensuring timely filings and provision of supporting documents.
  • Monitor and manage vendor (law firm) performance, especially for Abu Dhabi (AUH) cases.
  • Attend expert meetings, review commentaries and memos as needed.
  • Ensure all updates to systems and legal flags for allocated cases are complete.
  • Retrieve and return original files as per policy.
  • Address referred requests and escalations from various channels, bringing them to resolution.
  • Support Collection and Recovery teams with legal advisory when required.
  • Provide coverage for team members during leave.
  • Attend trainings and adhere to company policies and complete mandatory training requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong legal documentation and case-handling skills.
  • Experience in vendor management and legal coordination.
  • Familiarity with UAE regulatory guidelines.
