Fund Modeler

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and stress-test full lifecycle fund financial models, including capital calls, distributions, management fees, carried interest, and NAV.
• Run fund-level return scenarios (IRR, MOIC) and prepare outputs for stakeholders.
• Track LP commitments, capital calls, and distributions; monitor liquidity and cash flow planning.
• Maintain accurate and compliant waterfall models for carried interest distribution.
• Align fund models with LPA by fully understanding LPA specifics and compliance.
• Support investor relations by responding to LP queries, DDQs, reporting, and fundraising models.
• Prepare valuations with the Investment team and support Accounts with valuation queries.
• Liaise with administrators, legal, tax, and investment teams for accurate model inputs and assumptions.

Requirements

• 7–12 years' experience in fund finance, private equity, or fund administration.
• Expert in Excel modelling: fund waterfall, capital accounts, performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, LPA terms, and PE economics.
• Familiarity with IFRS/US GAAP for funds and valuation methodologies.
• Experience using portfolio monitoring systems or admin platforms (e.g., eFront, Investran, Allvue).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Professional demeanor and committed attitude.
• Mastery of MS Office tools.
• Quality-focused, striving for excellence.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented and strong report writing skills.
• Demonstrated financial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACA, or CFA qualification.
