Forward Deployed Software Engineer | Middle East

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side onsite with clients to solve critical infrastructure challenges
• Build predictive maintenance and inspection software solutions using Python, JavaScript, React
• Adapt to client priorities and technologies on location
• Leverage insights from across Gecko for client impact
• Travel up to 50% to client sites as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or relevant experience
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks
• Understanding of user impact in technical decisions
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Ability to work effectively in mixed technical/non-technical teams
• Adaptability to dynamic environments and objectives
• Self-driven and able to make independent decisions
• Willing and able to work onsite in Abu Dhabi

• Experience working in rapidly changing environments
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and adapt
• Interest or background in predictive maintenance or AI-powered platforms
