Vice President - Project Management

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of specific project streams, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, health, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Support line manager by managing project streams to completion, meeting schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations and provide guidance to contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate activities and monitor performance of PMC; hold meetings and schedule onsite visits with the Senior Project Manager.
• Review and refine high-level project plans and budgets; align plans with those developed by PMC.
• Provide input to Controls for tracking project progress and generating reports.
• Liaise with Project Procurement to ensure contracts are in place and assist in project scoping.
• Support Senior Project Manager in identifying and mitigating issues, deviations, and risks.
• Coordinate with Development to address design changes and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies.
• Oversee value engineering proposals and seek stakeholder agreement.
• Lead project close-out and successful handover to asset operator.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management, including at least 3 years in a senior project oversight position.
• Minimum 2+ years in a comparable managerial role.
• Proven experience managing construction developments with CAPEX greater than 1 billion AED.
• Strong knowledge of GCC real estate market.
• Expertise in contractor management.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
• HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) champion.
• Strong project management and conflict resolution skills.
• Full understanding of construction industry technical components.
• Experience with risk management and QA/QC implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, PMP, or technical post-graduate degree.
• Familiarity with process optimization, digital tools, and value engineering in construction.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated experience in change management.
