Urban Advisory Consultant

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies, policies, standards, and methodologies to meet customer and business needs.
• Conduct research and communicate findings graphically and concisely.
• Guide and support Graduate Consultants in task delivery.
• Develop design content applying technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs within timelines.
• Prepare reports and presentation decks based on team storyboards.
• Create additional content independently as required.
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews, detailed assignments including calculations, sketching, dataset development, drawings, and reports.
• Demonstrate understanding of urban principles, typologies, and planning practices, collaborating with other disciplines.
• Produce technical and descriptive writing for reports, presentations, and guidelines.
• Participate in workshops and meetings, capturing outcomes concisely.
• Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, CAD, Sketchup, Rhino, ArcGIS/QGIS, Power BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a related discipline
• Professional experience in urban planning
• Strong technical and descriptive writing skills
• Proficient in design and documentation software

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Urban Planning or a relevant field
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
