UAEN Junior IT / Cybersecurity Engineer (Emiratization)-Rail

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 IT support for Windows workstations, basic Linux, and O365 accounts.
• Assist with network basics (switches/routers, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPN), user provisioning, and access controls.
• Monitor security tools (AV/EDR, email security, MDM, SIEM dashboards) and escalate alerts.
• Support vulnerability scanning, patch scheduling, and remediation tracking.
• Help document SOPs, asset inventories, and configuration baselines.
• Participate in incident response triage: evidence capture, ticketing, and follow-ups.
• Enforce IT policies (passwords, MFA, data handling) and support awareness campaigns.

Requirements

• UAE National (UAEN) with a Family Book/UAE Passport.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (internship or entry-level) in IT support or security operations.
• Familiarity with:
  • OS/Endpoint: Windows 10/11, basic Linux; EDR/AV; MDM/Intune.
  • Identity/Access: Azure AD/M365, MFA, least-privilege concepts.
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VPN, firewalls (fundamentals).
  • Security Ops: SIEM basics, incident handling lifecycle, patching/vulnerability management.
• Proactive, service-oriented communicator (English essential; Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ / Network+, CCNA, Microsoft AZ-900/SC-900, ITIL.
