Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and other stock items to ensure optimal stock levels; make timely orders to avoid shortages.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas, categorize and label materials for easy access, and follow safety protocols.
  • Oversee the handover of dirty laundry to outsourced laundry company and the receipt of clean laundry, maintaining proper documentation and stock levels.
  • Inspect received linens to ensure quality standards are met. Segregate linens into pre-arranged sets for each apartment cleaning schedule.
  • Operate washing machines for in-house cleaning of housekeeping dusters.
  • Stock and organize the housekeeping van with necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring maintenance.
  • Drive the housekeeping van and transport laundry and supplies between locations.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to align inventory and laundry needs with housekeeping schedules. Communicate any supply issues and coordinate solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Storekeeper, Laundry Officer, or similar hospitality role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage inventory systems accurately
  • Good physical stamina; can perform manual tasks
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Must be available to start immediately

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manual license for light vehicles is a plus
  • Additional language skills are a plus
  • Experience in hotels or holiday homes
