Site Engineer, Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project team to develop mechanical designs for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Perform site assessments to gather data for project planning and execution.
• Design and oversee the installation of HVAC systems in construction projects.
• Conduct thermal and energy efficiency analyses for HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality installation.
• Integrate mechanical systems with electrical and plumbing disciplines.
• Provide technical support during construction to resolve engineering issues.
• Develop project timelines and milestones related to mechanical tasks.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Generate project progress reports and document challenges and solutions.

Requirements

• AutoCAD proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with oil & gas projects
