Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support management in the preparation of recommended bidder lists for all Aldar Properties projects.
  • Maintain records of newly added contractors and consultants.
  • Coordinate with the supplier management team regarding new registration requests.
  • Manage and assist in the preparation and administration of tender packages related to Prime Cost and Provisional Sums.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding of new contractors/consultants, including gathering documentation, arranging site visits, and preparing assessment reports.
  • Track bidder list activities and provide transparency and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely registration and activation of vendors.
  • Apply effective vendor management practices with a strong understanding of the UAE contractor and consultant market.
  • Initiate and support procurement processes by developing detailed tender documentation.
  • Manage the full tender cycle including issuance, addendums, and clarifications via the Aldar Tendering Portal.
  • Evaluate tenders, prepare comparisons, and support follow-up investigations.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with vendors for clarifications and negotiations.
  • Ensure internal approval workflows and timely handover of tender documents to stakeholders.
  • Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in procurement, tendering, or quantity surveying.
  • Experience with large-scale real estate developers, consultants, or contractors in the UAE.
  • Strong proficiency in vendor onboarding and management in the UAE market.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI for data tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of contract procurement workflows, policies, and documentation.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Estimation and negotiation skills for building and infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba and Oracle.
