Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Optimize hotel’s revenue and Revenue Generation Index (RGI)
  • Engage closely with hotel senior management
  • Participate in budgeting and strategy implementation
  • Lead pricing strategy and inventory optimization
  • Provide global perspective on revenue management
  • Organize and monitor all activities related to the role
  • Ensure proper grooming and professional image at all times
  • Attend scheduled trainings
  • Foster cooperation and respect across teams and departments
  • Maintain product knowledge of all hotel facilities
  • Support budgetary and yearly strategy process
  • Create yearly budget per segment, per day
  • Formulate sales strategy and annual rate tables
  • Develop and guide hotel’s revenue strategy
  • Forecast demand and lead revenue meetings
  • Implement and communicate pricing strategies
  • Grow relationships with online distribution partners
  • Update rates and restrictions on all channels
  • Collect and analyze market and competitor data daily
  • Produce benchmarking and performance reports
  • Maintain system tools and revenue reporting
  • Analyze reservation patterns and stay updated on data management and software trends
  • Be familiar with rates, products, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Conduct competitor visits and provide regular updates
  • Monitor business sources and market segments
  • Drive multi-departmental selling penetration
  • Support DOSM in exploring new segments and preparing proposals
  • Promote positive hotel image and ensure quality customer service
  • Maximize revenues and cost control proactively
  • Report on industry and local market trends
  • Attend revenue meetings and be punctual
  • Maintain high grooming standards and team morale
  • Follow hotel rules and regulations, including HR procedures
  • Oversee vacation and public holiday balances for team
  • Foster professional, cooperative environment supporting staff and customers
  • Assist flexibly in other hotel areas as needed
  • Remain familiar with relevant operational standards
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or reasonably requested

Requirements

  • Hotel revenue management
  • English fluency
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excel/PowerBI proficiency
  • Hotel systems (PMS, CRS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in reservations or operations
  • Master’s degree in hospitality, tourism, finance or economics
  • Additional language skills
  • Familiarity with Channel Manager, GDS, Extranets
