Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Optimize hotel and RGI (Revenue Generation Index) sales revenue.
  • Closely interact with senior hotel management for strategic decisions.
  • Participate in budget and strategy determination, accountable for implementation.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategy and optimize inventory.
  • Provide a global perspective on Revenue Management across the hotel.
  • Organize and monitor all position-related affairs.
  • Ensure proper grooming and punctuality at all times.
  • Attend scheduled trainings and show full cooperation within the team and other departments.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
  • Support the budgetary process and devise segment-wise, day-wise budget.
  • Determine and execute sales strategies and yearly rate tables for market segments.
  • Prepare forecasts, chair revenue meetings, and circulate pricing recommendations.
  • Foster partnerships with internet partners and update rates throughout distribution channels.
  • Collect and analyze market and competition data; produce benchmarking and GDS performance reports.
  • Maintain work systems and revenue reporting tools; analyze reservation patterns.
  • Stay up to date with software and data management trends.
  • Track and report on competitor hotel strengths, weaknesses, and market trends.
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence and support multi-department selling.
  • Assist in new market segment proposals and maintain positive hotel image communication.
  • Maximize revenue and cost controls through proactive management.
  • Maintain an overview of staff leave balances and create a positive team environment.
  • Promote a helpful and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues.
  • Comply with all hotel policies and operational standards.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Requirements

  • Experience in hotel revenue management
  • Fluent English communication
  • Degree in Finance, Hotel Management, Tourism, or Economics
  • Advanced skills in Excel/PowerBI and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of hotel technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in reservations and operations (background knowledge beneficial)
  • Additional languages (asset)
  • Familiarity with PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets
