Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement process, including preparing and issuing purchase orders
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Maintain records of procurement transactions
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors; negotiate terms and conditions
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and related files
  • Generate reports on procurement activities for management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement
  • Work with internal stakeholders (project managers, finance teams) to clarify procurement requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve inquiries and issues

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office or Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience (preferably in professional services or engineering)
  • Experience in procurement or similar administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
  • UAE National with family book (Emiratisation requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of procurement software/tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
