Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist with procurement process, including preparing and issuing purchase orders
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
- Maintain records of procurement transactions
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors; negotiate terms and conditions
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and related files
- Generate reports on procurement activities for management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement
- Work with internal stakeholders (project managers, finance teams) to clarify procurement requirements
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve inquiries and issues
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office or Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience (preferably in professional services or engineering)
- Experience in procurement or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
- UAE National with family book (Emiratisation requirement)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of procurement software/tools
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
