Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnose patients with disabilities, injuries, or chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans incorporating physical therapy, occupational therapy and pain management.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust treatment plans to achieve clinical goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physio, OT, nursing, specialists) to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, home exercises and self-management strategies.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• PM&R board
• Medical license
• 5+ years experience
• Diagnostic skills
• Multidisciplinary teamwork
• Communication skills
• English fluency

• Research experience
• Fellowship training
• Arabic proficiency
