Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for daily VIP arrivals, including room allocation, amenities, and special requests.
  • Keep mis-en-place ready for VIP arrivals (registration cards, room keys, welcome drink).
  • Register and process check-in and check-out for all VIP guests efficiently and professionally.
  • Escort VIP guests to their rooms and update guest information upon check-in.
  • Handle cashiering duties, foreign exchange, night audits, and settlements upon guest departure.
  • Manage walk-in counter reservations and process call-in reservations outside of regular hours.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service by promptly responding to all guest requests and inquiries.
  • Resolve guest complaints and requests, and coordinate with relevant departments for immediate follow-up.
  • Ensure effective control and issuance of guest room key cards for security.
  • Deliver guest messages, mail, and packages.
  • Assist at the information counter, foreign exchange, and business centre as assigned.
  • Understand hotel rate codes, packages, segmentation, and discounts.
  • Maintain continuous guest contact and address issues efficiently and courteously.
  • Oversee bell desk coordination for shuttle bus and other transport arrangements.
  • Make daily courteous calls to VIP rooms and other guests.
  • Report any unusual occurrences or requests to management.
  • Ensure awareness of hotel accident prevention policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and neatness in the front office area.
  • Review and update the log book, verify and follow up on outstanding items and assignments.
  • Monitor hotel occupancy, guest needs, and VIP arrivals.
  • Communicate and coordinate VIP room details and transport with relevant departments.
  • Arrange for special occasions, including bouquets, cakes, and cards for guest anniversaries or birthdays.
  • File reports and documents systematically at the end of shifts.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and General Manager for VIPs.
  • Review guest comments and take direct action if necessary.
  • Handle guest complaints related to the Front Office and coordinate with the Assistant Guest Relations Manager for solutions, aiming to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Hotel Management
  • Fluent Russian speaker
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • UAE work eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience (minimum 1 year) in a similar role in a 5-star hotel
  • Fresh graduates in Hotel Management also considered
