Land Surveyor (Bridge Projects)

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic, layout, and as-built surveys related to bridge construction and maintenance.
• Establish control points, benchmarks, and elevations in accordance with approved drawings.
• Conduct field measurements and verify alignment, levels, and grades as per design.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure accurate implementation on site.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, auto levels, and digital theodolites.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, site sketches, and as-built documentation for submission.
• Monitor survey-related activities to ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain proper records of all surveying work and ensure proper data backup.
• Liaise with consultants and clients during inspections and handover stages.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying
• Minimum 5 years of UAE-based experience specifically in bridge and infrastructure projects
• Valid UAE Driving License is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of modern surveying equipment and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Leica, Trimble, or similar)
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
