Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse data to map land shapes for civil engineering and construction projects.
• Conduct initial surveys and environmental impact assessments on potential sites to assess construction feasibility.
• Use surveying instruments and GPS to chart precise coordinates of site features.
• Review and interpret geospatial and geomatics data.
• Monitor land movement and subsidence during construction or due to natural processes.
• Draft 2D and 3D drawings using CAD and cartographic software.
• Coordinate with Discipline Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, etc.), recording and supervising contractor activities onsite.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in land surveying.
• Proficiency in CAD software, survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment.
• Strong understanding of surveying techniques, safety procedures, and quality control.
