Investment Associate (UAE National)

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio company value creation through refreshed shareholder opinions and Value Creation Plans.
• Assist investment manager in driving value creation plans with portfolio companies' executives and boards.
• Contribute to identification and implementation of portfolio company synergies.
• Analyze and report on portfolio company performance and support regular reviews.
• Monitor companies against plans and flag potential issues to investment manager.
• Provide data and reports relevant to asset decisions (hold/sell).
• Conduct research supporting sector strategies and EIA perspectives on trends and investment themes.
• Help develop detailed sector screens to identify the most attractive investment opportunities.
• Assist with deal origination for strategic investments in collaboration with M&A.
• Build and maintain relationships with sector ecosystem stakeholders.
• Provide reports and analysis for deal execution and sector-specific diligence.
• Perform inter-company benchmarking analysis in terms of costs, sales, profit, ratios, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Business
• Must hold valid UAE family book
• 4–8 years experience in Consulting, Investments, or related field
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certificates (e.g., CFA, CPA)
