Inspector - Utilities Wet/Dry

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of wet utility systems (water supply, sewage, drainage) and dry utility systems (electrical, gas, telecommunications)
• Verify that installations meet local and international standards, regulations, and project specifications
• Identify and report any deficiencies, safety hazards, or non-compliant work
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of projects
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including data analysis and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, and corrective actions
• Stay updated on industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices in utility inspection
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations
• Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on utility-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in utility inspection or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of wet and dry utility systems, including their design, installation, and maintenance
• Proficiency in various inspection techniques and equipment
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
• Computer literacy, including MS Office and specialized inspection software
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations
• Understanding of construction processes and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Willingness to work in various field conditions and travel within the UAE as required

• Relevant certifications in utility inspection or quality control
