HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor work progress on maintenance request orders and ensure completion.
• Perform daily, routine and preventive maintenance of AC and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Monitor plant operations including HVAC, refrigeration and electrical systems.
• Supervise and monitor installations and ensure correct storing procedures for deliveries and spare parts.
• Arrange equipment installation for functions and assist with project installation tasks.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread and assemble HVAC ductwork; install controls (switches, relays, thermostats).
• Splice and connect wiring, inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Keep records of equipment, spare parts usage and maintenance activities; update supervisor/DOE.
• Implement energy conservation programs and ensure guest environmental comfort during shifts.
• Participate in weekend on-call schedule and respond to calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools in good working condition and perform other duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good English communication skills
• Experience in hospitality or resort facilities
• Familiarity with energy conservation programs and local building codes
