Foreman - Civil (Bridge Experience)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site, especially for bridge substructure and superstructure works (foundations, piers, girders, decking, concrete).
• Allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor productivity, progress, and work quality, taking corrective actions if needed.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies among staff.
• Communicate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.
• Maintain daily site reports, work diaries, and labor attendance records.
• Assist in planning construction sequences and provide technical guidance to the crew.
• Identify site issues or risks and report promptly to site engineers or project managers.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the worksite at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant trade certification
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in civil construction
• At least 3 years of experience in bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE
• Strong understanding of formwork, rebar, concreting, earthworks, and bridge erection
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and RTA construction site requirements
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation
• Basic knowledge of construction health and safety standards
• Good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic
