Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractors comply with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing
  • Track quality assurance progress
  • Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment daily resources
  • Undertake site supervision and inspections as required by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)
  • Document contractor personnel, equipment, activities observed, location, reasoning, and methods utilized
  • Report on material delivery and implement site instructions from the leader
  • Apply and implement quality controls and procedures at the site
  • Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as needed
  • Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements by performing inspection duties
  • Monitor health and safety of construction works and report violations

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Basic design requirements knowledge
  • Familiarity with electrical methodologies, installation processes, and procedures
  • Knowledge of building codes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with buildings of all types, especially horizontal development, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality
