Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, Engineers, Site Staff, and external contacts on behalf of the project office.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings and seminars within the project office, and with external clients, including preparation of presentations, agendas, and minutes.
  • Provide efficient word processing, clerical, photocopying, filing, and minute-taking duties for the Project.
  • Screen incoming mails and telephone calls, responding and redirecting correspondence as required.
  • Organize and coordinate travel requests for the Project Manager and Engineers, as needed.
  • Maintain confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence, and related material for easy retrieval.
  • Perform secretarial, administrative, organizing, and research tasks with an understanding of organizational policy and structure.
  • Coordinate and order stationery and office supplies.
  • Propose improvements to internal processes and procedures for efficient administration within the project office.
  • Keep computerized records for all Service Users referred to the project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree, Diploma, or equivalent (completion of twelfth grade).
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar projects.
  • At least 3 years of UAE experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on Roads and Bridges projects.
  • Middle East experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
